Lucy Dunn has served on Jamboree’s advisory board since 2010 and currently serves on the Business Development Committee. She is President and CEO of the Orange County Business Council, where she leads a dynamic organization of business members, working with academia and government, to ensure the county’s economic prosperity and high quality of life.
Before joining the Council, Lucy was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2004 to serve as Director of the California Department of Housing and Community Development. In 2008, Governor Schwarzenegger appointed her to the California Transportation Commission and in 2012, Governor Jerry Brown appointed her to serve a second term.
Lucy received the California State Legislature “Woman of the Year” Award in 1997 and in 2009 for her civic involvement, influence and participation in public policy task forces. She is an attorney admitted to practice before the California State Bar, the federal bar and the U.S. Supreme Court. Lucy is a director of a number of nonprofit organizations and was a participant in the creation of the Orange County 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness.
