Welcome to Finamore Place, a new beacon of hope and thriving community for families. This affordable new construction project is designed to serve both large families and those emerging from homelessness. It's the latest testament to the fruitful partnership between Jamboree and the City of Anaheim, marking our eighth successful venture together and bringing the total of high-quality, affordable housing units to over 700 since 2008. Finamore Place is built on a 2.86-acre formerly vacant site, turned vibrant community asset in the heart of the Ponderosa Park neighborhood, via a 55-year ground lease agreement with the Anaheim Housing Authority.
Our community at Finamore Place features a four-story apartment building, housing 102 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. These homes open onto a generous courtyard filled with nearly 15,000-square-feet of active open space. This new development is a testament to Jamboree's commitment to creating vibrant, livable spaces for residents and surrounding communities.
Adding to the uniqueness of Finamore Place, we've included a two-story, nearly 17,000-square-foot community center—the largest of any Jamboree property. This community center is dedicated to serving the entire neighborhood and houses a number of key resources including the Child Guidance Center's satellite family mental health services center, St. Jude’s Manchester Clinic, and an Orange County Head Start onsite early education center.
The Finamore Place Community Collaborative is a hub of support. Here, residents can access a range of services, including free medical services from St. Jude Neighborhood Health Center, early education services for 40 children from Orange County Head Start, and behavioral health services from the Child Guidance Center.
Embodying the contemporary, modern aesthetic of Anaheim, the architectural design of Finamore Place combines stucco, fiber cement siding, and wood accents. Residents enjoy the convenience of ample parking in a three-story centralized structure with dedicated spaces and charging stations for electric vehicles. An unused strip of land adjacent to the property has been transformed into landscaped walkways and a water-wise community garden, adding green spaces for the enjoyment of residents.
Committed to sustainability, Finamore Place is designed to achieve a LEED for Homes Silver certification, promoting energy efficiency and health while offering a cost-saving benefit to residents. As per the LEED Green Building Rating System, the project adheres to standards in sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.
Welcome to a home that's more than just a place to live. Welcome to a community. Welcome to Finamore Place.
