Co-developed by Jamboree Housing Corporation and Workforce Home Builders LLC in partnership with the County of Riverside, Highgrove Blossom is Jamboree’s second community in Riverside. Adjacent to a library and elementary school, the community aims to improve quality of life for workforce families.
Built in 2014, the two-story craftsman-style complex includes gated access and covered parking. Jamboree’s Community Impact Group provides tailored onsite services to residents.
Green features include energy-efficient appliances and water-saving plumbing in apartments. Additionally, Highgrove Blossom utilizes the Enterprise Green Communities program to bring improved health, economic and environmental benefits of sustainable living to its residents. Enterprise Green Communities helps developers, investors, builders and policymakers make the transition to a green future for affordable housing.
Jamboree and Workforce Home Builders worked in sync with local government and investors to ensure the community came to completion. This public/private partnership led to the funding and development of Highgrove Blossom, and thus meets some of the significant demand for workforce housing in Riverside County.
The property’s strategic location links quality housing with valuable community and family resources. The bus stop for a major bus route is located at the Highgrove Blossom entrance, and the property is within three miles of two secondary schools. The transit-oriented development is also close to shopping, entertainment, restaurants and job opportunities, and a short drive to major medical centers, the University of California Riverside and Riverside Community College.
