Ceres Court is an innovative affordable housing community in the City of Fontana that seamlessly integrates a new construction property directly adjacent to a development previously renovated by Jamboree. Since the original property had become blighted, Jamboree acquired the property for extensive renovation. Then, a few years later, the City of Fontana asked Jamboree to integrate the renovation with additional new construction.
Replacing drywall, flooring, tubs, bathroom fixtures, decks and balconies, repairing the roof, plumbing and property fences, and painting interiors and exteriors enhanced the original units. Each of the two-story new construction units conveys a town house design. A spacious community center, a tot lot and creative hardscape and landscape unite the new and existing sites into one property in San Bernardino County. Residents benefit from the close proximity to public transportation, local markets and schools.
Jamboree not only raised the quality of the property dramatically, its property management partner also worked closely with residents to greatly reduce crime, resulting in a much safer, more secure community where families can thrive. Jamboree and partners are committed to maintaining a secure, affordable and well-maintained community that provides workforce families an opportunity to flourish.
In addition, Ceres Court is one of five Jamboree communities in Fontana, including Citrus Grove, Ceres Way, Hillcrest and Valencia Woods. Each community participates in the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program – a coalition of law enforcement, business owners/managers and residents committed to providing a safe living environment.
